Multichoice Nigeria, organisers of the highly anticipated special ‘ Big Brother Titans ’ TV reality show, say the reality show will premiere on 15 January 2023. Busola Tejumola, the executive head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, said this on Thursday at a media event held at La Madison Place, Lekki, Lagos State. Ms Tejumola said the show would feature Nigerian and South African housemates while the winner would get a $100,000 cash prize.  She also said BBNaija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Mzansi anchor Lawrence Maleka would co-host the debut season. The Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe, revealed that the BBTitans edition would run for 72 days. He said: “The ‘Big Brother Titans’ is a special edition of the widely loved Big Brother show. This special edition is a fusion of two TV phenomena— BBNaija and BB Mzansi. Nigerian music star Zinoleesky , has said that he does not really consider Mohbad his friend. Speaking in an interview on City 105.1 FM, the Marlian singer stated that while he and Mohbad are buddies he would not necessarily describe him as a close friend. Zino explained that he only calls individuals really close to him his friends.  According to him, he does not have friends in the industry and most people he is close with are not in the music business. Big Brother Naija season 7 winner Phyna   has admitted to having 2 abortions. While engaging in a Twitter spat with a fan of former BBNaija housemates.  It began when Phyna asked her followers to gist her what's happening in the comment section.. A follower then told her that her co-star Beauty is her "mama". Phyna responded, "Happy Mother's Day to una." The follower told Phyna that she can't say the same for her because she is an "abortionist". Phyna then hit back, writing: "Yes, I have had 2 abortions." Nigerian-born professional rugby player, Daniel Igbinedion, has been jailed in the UK for subjecting his former girlfriend to a catalogue of abuse and even threatened to kill her.    Igbinedion, 26, was convicted of controlling and coercive behaviour and three charges of assault in October. The former West Yorkshire rugby league player was sentenced to three years and three months in jail on Tuesday, December 21.      Katy Lyles, 35, suffered repeated attacks by Igbinedion over two years, Bradford Crown Court heard. The court also heard that Igbinedion dragged the insurance broker out of a club and tore off her SmartWatch so she couldn't dial 999 before threatening her with a blade.  Hey baby mama; Banky W reacts court ruled that marriages conducted at Federal Marriage Registries, including Ikoyi Registry, are invalid.   Banky Wellington  has reacted after a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos ruled that it is unconstitutional for the federal government to conduct marriages. Based on the ruling, all weddings conducted at Federal Marriage Registries, including Ikoyi Registry, are "illegal and invalid". Banky W, who married Adesua Etomi 4 years ago in Ikoyi Registry, reacted on Twitter, jokingly telling Adesua she's his baby mama, not his wife. "So therefore @AdesuaEtomiW hey 'baby mama'."
